Spinning office work

Companies in Bay Area are emphasizing on innovation and commitment to cost containment that means each employee is a hands-on contributor. There's little in the way of corporate hierarchy and everyone wears several hats. For instance these are the recent pictures sent by friend who works for a corporate company in Silicon Valley.

Is Recession near by?

Work life Balance with B'Berry's

Blackberry devices and other smart phones may have had a huge impact on executive and employee productivity, but they also have a negative impact on work-life balance by making it more difficult to switch off from the office, according to a recent survey.

The study, conducted by Blackberry maker Research In Motion, found that an average Blackberry user converts one hour of downtime to productive time each day and increases overall team efficiency by 38 percent.

Questions to ask ourselves:
a) Am I working for which is not asked for?
b) Do I need to have company ethics?
c) Does it all count?

Dear Readers,
Please be aware of consequences you are going to face if you sleep with your Blackberry.

Thanks

What's there in Nintendo Wii

The Wii of the future

Nintendo's intention with the Wii was to revolutionize the video game industry by changing the way games are played. The next challenge for Nintendo will be to build on its momentum by outdoing its own innovations.

Nintendo's president, Satoru Iwata, speaking at the at the E3 Media & Business Summit in July, said the company must "destroy the psychological barrier that separates veteran players from novice players."

In other words, Nintendo hopes to capitalize on its expanded market without alienating the core video game market.

Speaking at the same summit, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime said that Nintendo is a "beacon for the entire video game industry," and that video games will soon "take their place alongside TV, movies and music as a staple of leisure entertainment."

Nintendo is hoping that its latest Wii accessory, the Wii Fit, will appeal to the "casual gamer."

Nintendo is marketing the Wii Fit as a product that makes exercise entertaining. It comes with a "balance board" device that players stand on to play exercise-themed games.

But Summa of the Global Gaming League thinks the Wii Fit will flop with devoted gamers. "Hardcore gamers would rather spend their money on a system that appeals to them, like the Xbox 360," he said.

i Care Earth Shirts

We have certain responsibilities as citizens of the global community, on the immense threats posed by climate change and other impacts from our dangerous Co2 emissions. we acknowledge our unenviable status: with a mere five percent of the world’s population, we generate one-quarter of climate-altering emissions, while consuming one-quarter of the earth's energy resources. Therefore, we must take immediate and comprehensive action to greatly reduce our carbon footprint. For the health of Earth’s ecosystems and future generations we must transform the ways we produce and consume energy in our individual households, communities, regions and nation.

We are strongly prepared to respond to this challenge, despite the difficulties of changing our habits. Therefore, we concord on

1. To inform and educate ourselves about the energy we consume -- to know where it comes from, how it is produced, and what impacts that production and consumption has on other families, communities and environment.

2.To change the ways we consume energy in our households and daily lives, to reduce and end the harm to others and the planet caused by unsustainable production and habits.

3. To challenge and support community leaders to change the ways energy is produced and distributed in our community, develop policies and plans resulting in practices that significantly reduce harmful pollution and emissions, with time-bound targets to implement those changes.

Hurray !! We are here with Shirts

Is Google Inc Listening !!!

Well, Google Inc has to take necessary steps to save energy inorder to fight against Global Warning.

Google, which has a white background and gets about “200 million queries a day” could reduce global energy use by 750 Megawatt-hours a year by simply changing the color of its homepage to black.

Here is an instance of how many hours are saved when it turns its page into Black background.

@ 1123 hrs; 324,684.366 Watt hours saved

Mathematics on Brain

Mathematics is the body of knowledge centered on such concepts as quantity, structure, space and change and also the academic discipline that studies them.

Ahhhh... explanation is always self-referencing. "everything i say is a lie" if i am telling the truth, then not everything i say is a lie, if it's a lie then i am speaking the truth. explanation is endless. math is the symbolic depiction of the truth, which should never be confused with the truth that it attempts to depict symbolically. the thing that is described by a word is, both, not the word itself, and is also much greater than the descriptive symbol, ie. name or number. you can't prove this sentence. that is proof enough that the truth is not explainable by names or numbers. i suggest...

India - Independence Day

Pay your tribute to the nation.
Indian National Anthem

The song Jana Gana Mana, composed by Rabindranath Tagore, was adopted by the Constituent Assembly as the National Anthem of lndia on 24 January 1950. It was first sung on 27 December 1911 at the Calcutta session of the Indian National Congress. The complete song consists of five stanzas. The first stanza consists of the full version of the national anthem. It reads:

Jana-gana-mana-adhinayaka, jaya he
Bharata-bhagya-vidhata
Punjab-Sindhu-Gujarata-Maratha-
Dravida-Utkala-Banga
Vindhya-Himachala-Yamuna-Ganga
Uchchala-Jaladhi-taranga
Tava shubha name jage
Tava shubha ashish maange
Gahe tava jaya-gatha
Jana-gana-mangala-dayaka jaya he
Bharata-bhagya-vidhata
Jaya he, jaya he, jaya he
Jaya jaya jaya, jaya he !

Lets wait and see... may be this can be another VMware / Google stock.

VM Ware > Google Inc ? Hmmm...

The software maker VMware Inc. (VMW) declared its IPO(Initial Public Offering) on Monday in NYSE with $20bn market value mentioning $29.00 each stock.

Surprisingly, the shares are soaring at 84% and reached $53.50, the way it goes is more than the way it went with Google Inc when it came to IPO.

FYI: The key uses of VMware are the companies which run several "virtual" machines on a single computer to reduce hardware and other costs.

Happy B'day India

"The People of India - Happy Independence day"

President Patil addresses, to ensure equitable growth for all. The fruits of economic development must necessarily touch, especially, the living and working conditions of our toiling masses and people below the poverty line.

Progress must relate to the lives of the people and we have to conscientiously discharge our responsibilities towards uplifting the socially and economically disadvantaged and weaker sections of society.

I have an idea on this special day -Why can't we issue identity cards to Farmers -And offer them
a) Health Plans for free of cost
b) Easy Food - Loan system; in case if they loose their land through droughts, floods etc.

To remember, Shri Lal Bahadur Sastry mentioned as -
Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, If we can give value to Soldiers and Farmers then definitely we can see the true relationship among citizens of India.

Unfortunately, we the government are fighting towards Global Warming,Economic policies and terrorism.

Lastly, we have to think on counter measurements in order to tackle all the issues we have in our hand as of now.

Thanks for reading.

India, is a land of customs and traditions. The religious ruling parties prevail the opportunity to influence more people and try to ignore the facts on middle class, lower middle class people. If it is the case, who really cares about the people of India.
